On 20 May 2026, a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Asia Excellence Entrepreneur Federation (AEEF) visited the Haikou National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Hainan, China, for an official government engagement and industrial exploration visit.
Under the guidance and arrangements of the Haikou National High-Tech Zone authorities, the delegation toured the Pharmaceutical Valley Planning Exhibition Hall, Meian Management Center, and Optics Valley Haikou Bio City. The entrepreneurs also participated in in-depth discussions with local government representatives and industry leaders to gain a deeper understanding of Haikou’s latest developments in biopharmaceuticals, technological innovation, industrial park development, talent attraction, and business establishment policies.
This visit allowed Malaysian entrepreneurs to gain a more direct and comprehensive understanding of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the industrial ecosystem of the Haikou National High-Tech Zone. It also expanded their perspectives on future opportunities in the Chinese market, regional collaboration, and cross-border industrial development.
For many enterprises, China is no longer viewed merely as a consumer market, but increasingly as a strategic platform that integrates policies, industrial supply chains, talent resources, scientific research, and capital ecosystems. The rapid growth of Haikou National High-Tech Zone in healthcare, biotechnology, and innovation sectors has also opened new possibilities for Malaysian businesses in areas such as cross-border cooperation, product registration, technology exchange, and industrial upgrading.
Top Leader Magazine and the Asia Excellence Entrepreneur Federation have long been committed to promoting deeper engagement and meaningful resource connectivity among Asian entrepreneurs. This visit to Haikou National High-Tech Zone was organised with the intention of helping Malaysian entrepreneurs step beyond local perspectives, personally experience emerging regional developments, and identify real policy opportunities, industrial trends, and future collaboration potential.
A true leader does not simply wait for opportunities — a true leader walks into the places where opportunities are being created.
